After graduating law school I worked in a general practice law firm where I represented clients ranging from court appointed, low-income litigants to multi-million dollar corporations.   I have represented hundreds of clients in thousands of matters involving a wide variety of legal issues.  I have successfully represented banks, credit unions, county departments of human services, municipalities, farm and ranch operations and individuals from all walks of life.   Through my extensive experience I have developed a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to my clients’ legal problems.

I was born and raised in Colorado, a third generation Coloradan.  I graduated from Lamar High School in 1996.  After high school I have enjoyed living in Utah, California and Florida.  After finishing my undergraduate work at Florida State University in 2002, I returned home to Colorado to attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where I earned my juris doctorate degree in 2005.   I have practiced law in eastern Colorado since that time.

Outside my practice of law I enjoy spending time with my wife and five sons.  I love outdoor activities such as biking, camping and hiking. Far and away the question I am asked most often is, “how tall are you?”  The answer is seven feet – even.  The follow up question is often, “did you play basketball?”  I played during college for the Seminoles of Florida State University and still enjoy cheering them on.
